Academies Capital Maintenance Fund Announcement
The Department for Education has just released new information regarding Round 1 of the Academies Capital Maintenance Fund financial year 2014-15. The Academies Capital Maintenance Fund (ACMF) is available to academies for building condition and expansion projects.
To be eligible to apply, academies must be open as of 1 December 2013. The online application portal opens on 13 December 2013 with the closing date for applications 31 January 2014. Funding allocations will be announced in April 2014.
Since 2012 Synergy Construction and Property Consultants LLP have had significant success in assisting academies in the preparation of funding bid applications. In 2012/14 capital maintenance and demographic growth allocations, Synergy helped to secure over £12 million of funding for the academies they were working with.
