Synergy has considerable experience in managing the construction of grandstands and a detailed knowledge and appreciation of the individual requirements of different facility types.
Synergy is proud to have worked on numerous prestigious projects including the masterplan for the development of Lord’s Cricket Ground in London and more recently for Sussex County Cricket Club on the redevelopment of the County Ground at Hove. Synergy understands the significance that sports facilities can have on empowering individuals and local communities and is completely focused on helping to provide inspiring projects that deliver long-term sustainable solutions.
At Synergy we recognise the unusual challenges that performing arts buildings pose in terms of achieving a balance between acoustics and sustainable design. Sound-proofing considerations often necessitate heavy and sealed constructions and these are often enclosed spaces requiring energy-consuming mechanical ventilation and cooling. Synergy promotes designs that operate as passively as possible, whilst delivering the most inspirational buildings which exceed our clients’ aspirations.
Our portfolio of projects include state-of-the-art music and drama facilities at Sevenoaks School in Kent, King Edward’s School in Birmingham and numerous other school drama studios, theatres and concert halls.
Sports Centres and swimming pools
Synergy’s teams are extremely experienced. We have completed projects for a wide range of clients including local authorities, private clients and independent and maintained schools. Our work ranges from complete new build projects to refurbishments and re-configurations. We are passionate about providing unparalleled facilities that are accessible, affordable and meet the demands of stakeholders and user groups.
Our portfolio of projects is extensive and includes the redevelopment of the Ironmonger Row Baths for the London Borough of Islington, Westminster Schools Sports Centre at Lawrence Hall and the Tonbridge School Sports Centre, home for the Australian team for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The strength of our service lies in the knowledge of our team. At Synergy, we look at a project from all perspectives; from the athletes and coaches right through to the maintenance team and, of course, the investors.
We pride ourselves on being a completely independent consultancy and always ensure our clients benefit from the latest technology, construction methods and products available and always to suit their budget.
Our offering is diverse, from specialist surfaces for a particular sport, to multi-use pitches, tracks and playgrounds.
