Synergy Announces two new Partners

We are delighted to announce that James Cottle and Matthew Whyte have been invited to become Partners of Synergy, effective from 1 April 2021.

Matthew has played a pivotal role in the development of our Guildford Office’s Building Surveying division. Both truly deserve this advancement which recognises their ongoing contributions, outstanding client service and commitment to the continued success of our business.”

James’s project portfolio includes the Newt in Somerset comprising the conversion of existing buildings, transformation of the Grade II*-listed building at the core of the Estate into a luxury hotel and construction of new estate buildings to form a commercially viable visitor attraction. This exciting development includes the award winning ‘The Story of Gardening’ museum. James’s work in other sectors includes major high spec residential refurbishments, through to Independent education and retail fit out projects.

Matthew has a particular specialism in the education sector and has supported numerous academies, voluntary aided schools, multi academy trusts with the development of their estates. This has included preventative maintenance, statutory compliance, alteration/remodelling, extension and new build works. Matthew is also a highly respected APC mentor and has guided RICS candidates through their final assessment preparation.”
