Synergy Sponsor RICS Summer School
Synergy are again delighted to be sponsoring the RICS & SPAB Building Conservation Summer School.
The event, now in its 12th year, is being held between 6-10 September at the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester. The course offers Building Surveying and APC candidate’s unprecedented access to leading professionals in the field covering subject matters including building conservation philosophy, stone conservation, and timber decay amongst other topics.
In addition, students gain an opportunity to watch restoration work as it happens and can participate in hands-on workshops on how to use lime mortars and renders.
Duncan Ball, a Partner of Synergy, who leads our Heritage Team from the Bath Office (formerly Bare, Leaning & Bare) has been invited to lecture to students at this event regarding the control of costs on conservation projects.
