Our Projects: Brompton Square

The works, carried out a mere stones throw from Harrods, were to extend the existing basement level, provide an additional sub-basement level as well as completely refurbish the existing Grade II listed building.

The new basement formed a large family/cinema room area with planar glazed circular rooflights at garden level. The remainder of the house was completely refurbished to include a kitchen and dining room at ground floor, double aspect reception room at first floor and  bedrooms to the upper levels all with en-suites and fully fitted out wardrobes. Existing windows were replaced within the listed building consent to match the originals with acoustic glass.

The roof structure was totally refurbished with welsh slates and leadwork with the front façade of the building entirely renovated. Internally a new passenger lift was incorporated to service the ground floor upwards. Mechanical and electrical services were renewed throughout.
