Our Projects: Appledore Redevelopment, Berkhamsted
The Appledore redevelopment involves the design and build of three new luxury modern homes in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire.
All three homes have now been sold.
Each house is unique and offers generous accommodation over three floors, including five bedrooms, three ensuites and a family bathroom.
The design concept is ‘Contemporary Vernacular’, where we have combined traditional architectural forms with modern materials, services and fittings. The interiors are flooded with natural light, with most of the ground floor areas open plan.
The oak and steel cantilever staircase rises alongside a three-storey high half-gable window. The three-sided oriel window serves the ground floor study and the master bedroom on the first floor.
We are delighted to have provided design, contract administration and cost consultancy services on this striking project for Berkhamsted Developments, working with contractors SLG Design.
