Ben Owers
Senior Quantity Surveyor
Ben is a proficient Quantity Surveyor who specialises in the restoration and refurbishment of historic buildings within places of worship, cultural and community spaces and within the hospitality and commercial sectors.
Ben has a strong background in financial control and reporting, procurement and contract management, both at project and strategic level.
Ben re-joined Synergy in 2020 after working as Lead QS on Balfour Beatty’s reactive civil engineering framework for Network Rail’s Western Route. Prior to this Ben spent three years with Synergy as a Project Surveyor on a variety of high profile historic and commercial projects, and seven years as a QS and Supply Chain Manager for Wessex Water.
At Synergy, Ben has worked for a number of high profile clients, including Bath Abbey, on the transformational Footprint project, The Newt in Somerset, St Paul's Cathedral and The National Trust.
