Stephen is a highly respected conservation quantity surveyor with over four decades of experience working on historic and significant buildings. Having joined Sawyer & Fisher in 1985, he became part of Synergy following the merger in April 2022 and is now retained as a Consultant to Synergy, providing specialist conservation advice and support across the practice.
His experience spans Scheduled Ancient Monuments, listed buildings and complex heritage assets, including high-profile projects at Westminster Abbey, extensive National Trust work, and numerous grant-funded schemes supported by Historic England.
In his consultant role, Stephen continues to offer deep expertise in conservation-led cost management, heritage best practice, and strategic advice on some of Synergy’s most sensitive and challenging historic projects.
