Another Successful Project for our Building Surveying team

Following the completion of complicated structural repairs, we are pleased to announce that the dining hall has now been handed back to Christ Church School in Ware, Hertfordshire.

The repairs were required following reported cracking to walls and floor, the cause of which was determined by a ground investigation. The works were particularly challenging due to the restricted nature of the site. Works comprised removal of the concrete floor slab and the formation of 35 No 12 metre deep piled foundations internally, on which a new reinforced suspended concrete floor was cast. The new ground floor was notched out underneath the walls every half a metre to support the existing walls.

The works included a complete reconfiguration and refurbishment of the building. Synergy Construction and Property Consultants LLP provided Building Surveying, Design and CDM-C services on this project.
