New Sports Centre Opens at King’s College School, Wimbledon
The new Sports Centre at King’s College School, Wimbledon has opened for the start of the new academic year.
The impressive new facilities includes a multi-use six court sports hall, facilities for strength & conditioning, a gym, aerobics studios and an indoor swimming pool to replace the previous facility opened in the 1930’s.
The sports hall which has been designed to competition standards can be configured to accommodate each of the following activities:
- 6 Badminton Courts
- 6 Cricket Nets
- 2 Basketball Courts
- 2 Five-a-Side Football Pitches
- Hockey
- Netball
- Volleyball
Situated under an eye-catching CLT frame the six lane swimming pool has also been designed to competition standards. Surrounded on three sides by glazing the pool provides outstanding views both inside and out.
