Planning Permission Granted for the Orpheus Centre

10 Apr 2026 | Project Update

We’re delighted to share that planning permission has been granted for a new education campus at the Orpheus Centre — a major milestone for this inspiring project.

Set in the Surrey Hills, the Orpheus Centre is a specialist college for young adults with SEND aged 18 to 25. Focused on performing and creative arts, it empowers students to build confidence, develop independence, and gain meaningful employment opportunities.

This exciting new single-storey campus has been thoughtfully designed to embody the Centre’s ethos — creating a truly inclusive, supportive environment where creativity can thrive. The building will enable the expansion to up to 100 students and will provide a range of specialist learning spaces for music, drama, dance, film, media, and art. Alongside these, it will feature a welcoming reception, gallery, shop, café, kitchen and accessible facilities, helping to create a vibrant and engaging community hub.

We are proud to be providing project management services on this development, working with Haverstock Architects.
