Two More Award Winning Projects!
Synergy is delighted to have been involved in two more award winning projects in 2021.
The Guildford Design Awards 2021 were presented in early December and celebrate good building Design and Public Art completed in the borough over the last 12 months. They were jointly organised by The Guildford Society and Guildford Borough Council.
The North West Washrooms project at West Horsley Place received a Guildford Design Award in their conservation category. This is just one of the many successful phases of the West Horsley Place restoration to open the estate to the public. Empathy to the rooms’ historic significance is apparent in the design as there is as little interference to the Grade I listed building’s original features as possible.
The new horticulture centre at Wisley, RHS Hilltop – The Home of Gardening Science, won awards in both the new building and landscape categories. The three garden spaces have each been celebrated for their own distinct characters that visitors can explore to and from the central building.
Synergy provided Project Management services on both of these rewarding projects as well as Cost Consultancy services on the RHS Hilltop project.
