First phase of Central Surgery in Sawbridgeworth now complete
The first phase of our project at the Central Surgery Limited in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire is now complete.
Commencing in June 2018, the first phase comprised a two storey extension containing a reception area, nine consulting rooms, two minor operations rooms and ancillary areas. This was handed over in June 2019. During construction the existing surgery building remained in full operation.
The final phase which includes the alteration and refurbishment of the existing surgery building is due for completion in early October 2019.
The works were procured on a single stage design & build procurement route with the design and specification of the works complying with NHSE Funding requirements & technical standards. The £1.93 million project is targeted to achieve a BREEAM rating of “Very Good” including the refurbished areas.
