Meet the new members of the Synergy team!
We are delighted to introduce our new starters who have joined Synergy within the past few months. Give a big warm welcome to:
Fayaz Azam, Assistant Building Surveyor, London
Fayaz joined our Building Surveying team in April and is ambitious to become chartered. In his previous position, he gained thorough experience in the residential sector and after only 4 months at Synergy has already been a vital support in numerous education projects. In his spare time, Fayaz loves to watch and play football with family. He’s a travel enthusiast and has so far ticked off Thailand, Marrakesh, Amsterdam and Dubai. He would love to keep adding to this list by discovering new places!
Paula Bodelon, Assistant Architectural Technician, London
Paula recently started working at Synergy in July. She is from Spain but prior to moving to the UK, lived and worked in Mexico City. She just celebrated her one-year anniversary of living in London! She has experience working on a wide range of projects from renovations to brand new builds within the residential, retail and commercial sectors. She’s a coffee connoisseur (but likes tea too) and loves reading, cooking and gardening. She enjoys experiencing and learning about new cultures.
Daiana Grudinska, Assistant Building Surveyor, Guildford
Daiana joined us in April. Originally from an architectural background, Daiana’s design flare and experience producing 3D visuals is invaluable when supporting a client with their vision. Amongst her passions is her love for travel, DIY make-overs and hosting dinner parties for friends – however these cannot compete with her dog Kenji whom she spends 99% of her time with!
Janet Disney, Secretary, Guildford
Janet started working in the Guildford office in April as a Secretary. Before joining Synergy she lived and worked in South Africa. When she’s not keeping everything running smoothly at Synergy, she’s spending time with her family and enjoys a very active lifestyle of running, hiking and cycling. Very impressively Janet has climbed Kilimanjaro!
Michael Leslie, Senior Building Surveyor, London
Michael Leslie joined Synergy is April and is a Chartered Senior Surveyor with over 30 years experience in the construction industry. He has delivered a wide range of projects across the commercial, institutional, residential and retail sectors. In his spare time he enjoys Tai Chi, cycling, playing tennis and he is currently learning to sail!
Alfie Macer, Junior Building Surveyor, Guildford
Meet Alfie who also joined us in July after recently graduating with his Building Surveying degree at Portsmouth University. He is a big football fan, previously holding a season ticket at Fratton Park, and enjoys making the most of living by the sea, relaxing, kayaking or paddleboarding most weekends. Alfie is also looking forward to pursuing his RICS membership.
