One week until Synergy attend the ISBA Conference in Harrogate!
In just over a week Synergy Construction and Property Consultants LLP will be attending the ISBA Conference in Harrogate.
This will mark our 15th consecutive year of exhibiting as well as our fourth time as a Headline Sponsor. The event provides a unique opportunity for delegates to receive informative and relevant updates on many school business related topics. Synergy is delighted to support this event which affirms our commitment to the Independent School sector.
Our team (detailed below) will be available at Stand H28 throughout this event and will be delighted to meet with Clients, both old and new.
Rob Buckley BSc (Hons) MRICS – Managing Partner, Head of Quantity Surveying
Rob is a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor with over 20 years in the industry. He has successfully managed many major education projects, specialising in the Independent Schools sector.
Rob has carried out cost control for sports and media centres, boarding houses, design and technology schools, science laboratories and music & performing arts centres. In addition, Rob is a Governor at Christ Church School in Purley.
Stuart Hawkes BSc (Hons) FRICS – Managing Partner, Head of Building Surveying
Stuart is a Chartered Building Surveyor with over 30 years’ experience in advising clients in the Commercial, Industrial and Education sectors. Having graduated at Reading University, Stuart became a Chartered Surveyor in 1985. In 2014 he became a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Stuart specialises in building surveys, due diligence and Party Wall Awards and has provided project management and strategic maintenance support to many schools in the Independent School sector. Throughout his career Stuart has had an active involvement in the education and training of surveyors and is a Chairman of APC Assessment Panels for the RICS.
Duncan Ball BSc (Hons) MRICS – Partner, Head of South West Region
Duncan Ball leads both the South West and Heritage Team for Synergy from their offices in Bath. His experience has predominately been within both the Heritage and Ecclesiastical sectors and clients have included Cathedrals, English Heritage and the National Trust.
During his career, he has been able to use his experience of working on historical buildings within the Education sector, most notably at Ampleforth College in North Yorkshire and Stowe in Buckinghamshire.
Paul Grinham MSc ACIOB – Partner, Head of Project Management
Paul Grinham heads the Project Management team from the Guildford office. Paul has acute commercial awareness with a broad understanding of the construction marketplace and is skilled in managing challenging projects within listed buildings, schools, historic royal palaces and security sensitive establishments. Paul also currently oversees the CDM Coordination Department for Synergy.
Paul has project managed new build, regeneration, conservation and refurbishment projects for public and private sectors, including Commercial, Ecclesiastical, Education, Leisure and Retail.
