Parmiter’s New Science Building nears completion

We are delighted that Parmiter’s School new science block is nearing completion.

Parmiter’s School is a prospering academy school with a rich tradition of providing outstanding academic success and a wealth of opportunities for their students.

The £3.7m building provides outstanding facilities for both students and staff and replaces the school’s former dilapidated science block. Designed as a professional environment, the new accommodation prepares their students for the next steps in their education and careers.

The new three storey building has twelve laboratories as well as a prep room on each floor, two staff rooms and toilets.

Funded from the condition improvement fund (CIF) Synergy’s service on this design and build project included design to RIBA stage 3,  project management, cost consultancy and health and safety.

Other members of the project team include main contractor Neville Special Projects Ltd, Andrew Southey Architects, Solution Consulting Engineers Ltd. (Structural) and SVM Consulting Engineers (Mechanical and Electrical).

The school is dedicated to the continued enhancement of the educational provision for their students and Synergy are pleased to support their ongoing estate strategy. Our team were thrilled to secure two CIF bids for the school in the latest round which will allow the school to implement further important improvements.
