Sussex House wins RIBA National Award
We are delighted that our project at Sussex House in West Sussex has won a RIBA National Award 2015.
This sophisticated and contemporary house designed by Wilkinson King Architects is composed of a series of layers. At the ground floor the building utilises a steel frame and boasts both glazed and rendered masonry external elevations. At the first floor the building is entirely constructed from a cedar clad cross laminated timber frame. Upper floor windows have been positioned to take full advantage of the glorious views over the South Downs and the roof is made from a series of low-profile pyramids.
This elegant building comprises four bedrooms, one at ground level, and a study which overlooks a double height reception space. Synergy Construction and Property Consultants LLP are extremely proud to be involved with this project and provided Cost Consultancy services.
