Synergy go Strictly for charity!

Peter Baker and Jenny Howard both work colleagues at Synergy Construction and Property Consultants LLP in Hemel Hempstead have just embarked on a Strictly Learn Dancing Challenge for one of their chosen charities, The Hospice of St Francis.

They have 6 lessons to master the Argentine Tango and the Samba culminating in a glitzy public gala performance in Berkhamsted on 15th March!

They entered to have a go at something different (they are both novices) and, in Peter’s case, to get a bit of exercise! Peter is one of Synergy’s partners and lives in St Albans. He was with local firm Johnson and Partners since 1986 and now with Synergy after their merger in 2008. ‘I live in St Albans and have 2 grown up sons, Charlie and Joe. I have a passion for music and always wanted to learn how to dance, I need to be pushed and Jenny is very persuasive!. Jenny is Synergy’s marketing manager, lives in Hemel Hempstead and has been with Synergy since 2012 ‘ When I heard about this challenge I just couldn’t resist, I love to dance (even badly!), I just needed to convince someone to join me and Peter kindly obliged!’.

Outside of the dance lessons, both Peter and Jenny have been very busy fundraising in the lead up to this event, they have organised a pop up restaurant and ghost walk amongst other things and have found the whole experience immensely rewarding.
