Synergy speak at ECN Event – Asset Capitalisation
On 29 June Stephen Jopson of Synergy together with Richard Greenaway of Stanley Hicks and Dr Simon Uttley (Blessed Faringdon School) spoke at one of the well attended Education Construction Network (ECN) breakfast events.
ECN was founded in 2012 and is the brain child of Marcel Hendricks who set up the multi-discipline networking organisation in which members interact and share knowledge with their peers working within the Education sector.
The topic covered asset capitalisation with an exploration of the development appraisal process including an in-depth discussion on the challenges that may be encountered and how these can be overcome. The session covered a number of case studies highlighting the benefits that have been generated for schools as well as a ‘from the horses mouth’ end user experience from Dr Simon Uttley who worked with Synergy and Stanley Hicks on the successful development at St John Bosco College.
