After receiving a SCA funding allocation, GEP Academies identified the T block at George Abbot School as a priority for some of these much needed funds.
The block which was used to teach Art and Photography was in a dilapidated state and in desperate need of improvement.
Synergy’s Building Surveying Team worked with the Trust to come up with a number of options to renovate the block within the Trust’s budget expectations.
As well as internal enhancements the works also included installing external timber cladding to provide the block with a completely new lease of life.
The block renamed the Priscott-Jones building now delivers a modern, positive teaching and learning environment for its school community.
