Our Projects: New Maida Vale School
The first and second phase of the new Maida Vale School for the Gardener Schools Group has been completed on time despite the challenges of Covid-19.
Designed by BH&M Architects, the creation of a new school within a Victorian building takes advantage of the existing light-filled spaces with high ceilings and large windows to create a modern and innovative teaching environment within a traditional setting.
The refurbishment and reconfiguration project provides cutting edge teaching facilities which includes: multiple science laboratories, music suites, a computing laboratory, theatre, dance studio, fitness studio, food technology room, design technology room and CAD design area, art department, restaurant, parent café, and library.
Future phases will provide a roof terrace, additional classrooms and sixth form independent learning centre.
Utilising the outside space, the project also provides a playground, all-weather multi-use pitch and breakout areas.
Our cost consultancy team were delighted to be involved with this Independent School project which opened its doors to pupils for the first time in September 2020.
