Our Projects: Southborough High School, Dining Facilities
A complete strip out of the existing kitchen and adjoining cleaners store to form a new fully functioning kitchen and new adjoining sixth form café.
Works started during the May half term holiday and progressed well through the summer holidays to the start of the new term in September. The works included, asbestos removal, internal alterations to form two new serving areas and a new opening for the sixth Form café.
This much needed refurbishment project was fully funded following the preparation of a successful CIF bid by the Synergy Building Surveying Team in Guildford.
Synergy carried out a full design service, project managed and provided contract administration services on this complex project, in conjunction with another successful CIF bid at Southborough High School to carry out re-roofing works with a Contract Sum of £472,000; both projects were completed on programme and within budget.
