Our Projects: St Bede’s Catholic College, New Sixth Form Centre
The project has provided a new dedicated sixth form area with a common room, two reading rooms, and two offices.
The new space has allowed the school to expand their current sixth form provision and allow more Year 11 students to stay-on at St Bede's for their post-16 study.
The modern learning space is housed in a new octagonal building with a timber frame. The combination of glulam timbers and CLT upper floor and roof panels enabled these items to be constructed off site. This reduced construction waste and produced a high quality product, with no other wall or ceiling finishes required.
