Our Projects: Worth School, New Sixth Form Centre

The Spencer Building is a brand new sixth form centre that is an extraordinary gift from a former Worth student, Lord Spencer of Alresford.

The new facility includes a school library, a small auditorium for all pupils, seminar rooms, and study and social spaces for sixth form pupils. The new state-of-the-art space provides a university style environment allowing pupils to practice their independence and come together intellectually and socially.

The new building is beautifully balanced and spacious. Large full-height windows flood the centre with daylight and the use of timber throughout creates a natural and healthy environment to help inspire future generations to come. From inside-out the eye is drawn to the surrounding green landscaping and the uninterrupted view of the Abbey Church opposite.

Worth School is a thriving independent school with 640 day and boarding pupils, girls and boys. It is located within Worth Abbey, a Benedictine monastery, and within 500 acres of Sussex countryside.
