Say hello to our new starters!

We are delighted to introduce our new starters who have recently joined Synergy’s Guildford and Bath offices. Please give a big warm welcome to:

Patrick Higgins – Building Surveyor

Teaming up with the Building Surveyors in Guildford, Patrick has developed first-hand experience of construction projects and in-depth technical expertise after beginning his career as a site welfare manager.

His broad sector experience includes working with social housing, education, Ministry of Defence, healthcare, retail and commercial clients. He also has a passion for working on historic building projects.

He loves spending time in the great outdoors including walking, motorcycling and yacht sailing, in which he is impressively a qualified ‘Day Skipper’!

Miles Wyatt – Senior Building Surveyor

Miles works in Synergy’s Guildford office and has over 18 years’ experience in the construction industry. Miles’ experience within the education sector is extensive and stems from his passion to help improve learning environments, from solving vital maintenance issues to the creation of brand new school spaces.

In his spare time, Miles has his hands full with his two golden retrievers, who he enjoys taking on long walks through muddy fields.

Craig Wheeler – Architectural Technician

A warm welcome to Craig, who is a personable new member to Synergy’s Guildford team.

Craig has extensive experience within his field working across the commercial, high-end residential and education sectors. His expertise ranges from early concept drawings to technical design stages of the RIBA plan of work, to supporting planning applications including those for listed buildings.

When he’s not creating exciting visuals, you’ll find Craig on the squash court or playing football with friends.

Nathan Ward – Senior Project Manager

Nathan joined Synergy’s Bath office after working at Bath Abbey overseeing the transformational Footprint project. Prior to that, he worked for the National Trust for over a decade. Nathan is a highly skilled project manager, whose excellent team leadership abilities and hands-on approach to problem solving has ensured the delivery of countless successful projects.

Outside of work, Nathan enjoys an active lifestyle of playing tennis, going bouldering and is a loyal Bath rugby supporter. When there’s time left, he also plays the sax in a funk band.
