Our Projects: Guildford Hotel
The building provides an ‘an inspirational yet functional building’. Behind the old Victorian facade of the former coaching inn is an interior with a twist, including a 10ft-wide chandelier, a 23ft-high bookcase and a ‘ladder to nowhere’ in the main reception.
The hotel comprises 185 bedrooms with standard and deluxe rooms, 2 junior suites, 3 levels of underground car parking, themed public bars, a restaurant, conferencing facilities and an upmarket bar & bistro, which doubles as a popular night club at weekends. The hotel also includes an extensive Spa, gym and swimming pool facility.
Incorporated within the overall design are 38 luxury apartments all with a superior specification and of which, two are roof top penthouses with terraces allowing extensive views over the surrounding Guildford area.
