Our Projects: St Paul’s Cathedral
Synergy has had a long-standing relationship with St Paul’s Cathedral of over 30 years and has recently been appointed as their retained Quantity Surveyor.
The services delivered include high level budget advice, assessing works department budgets, costing Quinquennial reports and 10 year plans, ad-hoc cost advice to Cathedral Team, and general cost consultancy advice throughout the life of a project. Projects during the 30 year relationship have included the phased development of the Crypt, the complete external masonry cleaning and repair, internal cleaning of masonry, gilding, etc., works to improve accessibility, and improvement of the South Churchyard.
Current and recent projects have included:
-Refurbishment of the public crypt toilets
-Refurbishment of the crypt shop
-Stone Gallery – repairs asphalt, leadwork, stonework, metalwork
-Bell restoration
-Library conservation
-North Transept – new permanent ramp
