Synergy go purple and raise awareness for Epilepsy Awareness Day

Purple Day 2020 was a little different this year, but our team still showed their support and raised an amazing £330 for the Epilepsy Society!

Remote working meant the team had to be a little more inventive with their fundraising! But our team rose to the challenge and rummaged through their wardrobes to find their very best purple attire. Other activities included an online purple themed quiz and photo competition.

It really was another brilliant Synergy team effort for a great cause!

Purple Fact: Epilepsy is a neurological condition – which means it affects the brain. It is also a physical condition, because the body is affected when someone has a seizure. Did you know over 500,000 people in the UK have epilepsy? That’s about one in every 100 people. There are around 60 million people with epilepsy in the world. Around 87 people are diagnosed with epilepsy every day. More information can be found on the Epilepsy Society’s website
