Our Sectors: Heritage
Synergy has over 35 years experience in the Heritage Sector and our merger with Bare Leaning and Bare in 2008 enhanced the practice’s skill base. We are proud to offer our clients a wealth of experience in the cost and project management of repairs and alterations to heritage buildings. Synergy relishes being part of the conservation process and is committed to training and being at the forefront of research into the care and conservation of our heritage. Our heritage team is passionate about conservation, with many of our staff holding post graduate diplomas in building conservation. Many of the projects we are involved with are only possible by external funding from grant making bodies such HLF, Cadw, ERDF and various trust funds. We assist our clients by being an active part of the application process and the drawing down of grants to assist cashflows.
We have long-standing relationships with the National Trust and the Landmark Trust as well as a number of local preservation trusts throughout the UK.
Projects within the trusts sector can be extremely varied and we advise on projects both large and small. From roof and external stonework repairs, to the incorporation of new visitor facilities within the curtilage of existing buildings, to the landscaping, we offer trusts a broad base of skills and experience.
Our team is passionate about supporting our clients with their repair and conservation works, and have a keen eye for detail, always looking to understand the requirements of the building and the philosophy of repair to be used.
