Performing Arts
At Synergy we recognise the unusual challenges that performing arts buildings pose in terms of achieving a balance between acoustics and sustainable design. Sound-proofing considerations often necessitate heavy and sealed constructions and these are often enclosed spaces requiring energy-consuming mechanical ventilation and cooling. Synergy promotes designs that operate as passively as possible, whilst delivering the most inspirational buildings which exceed our clients’ aspirations.
Our portfolio of projects include state-of-the-art music and drama facilities at Sevenoaks School in Kent, King Edward’s School in Birmingham and numerous other school drama studios, theatres and concert halls.
