Our Sectors: Heritage
Synergy has over 35 years experience in the Heritage Sector and our merger with Bare Leaning and Bare in 2008 enhanced the practice’s skill base. We are proud to offer our clients a wealth of experience in the cost and project management of repairs and alterations to heritage buildings. Synergy relishes being part of the conservation process and is committed to training and being at the forefront of research into the care and conservation of our heritage. Our heritage team is passionate about conservation, with many of our staff holding post graduate diplomas in building conservation. Many of the projects we are involved with are only possible by external funding from grant making bodies such HLF, Cadw, ERDF and various trust funds. We assist our clients by being an active part of the application process and the drawing down of grants to assist cashflows.
Our clients within the historic landscape sector are diverse and include English Heritage, Trusts, local authorities and private clients.
Our brief can simply be restoration of the historic landscape or the creation of new formal gardens. Our work, however, is often part of a far larger brief and can also include fountains, boundary walls, ironwork and the repair of structures and follies within the landscape, from small grottos to large national monuments such as the Temples and buildings at Stowe Gardens.
