Our Projects: Grey Court School, Changing Rooms
Located in London, Grey Court School is part of the Every Child Every Day Academy Trust. A successful, over-subscribed coeducational secondary school, they provide outstanding learning to approximately 1250 children.
With their changing rooms and toilets in very poor condition, Synergy were approached to help the school. Our team identified that the changing rooms had no ventilation resulting in widespread mould growth throughout. In addition, various problems were identified with the drainage and hot and cold water supplies. These issues were making it difficult for the school to keep these areas operational and to provide their pupils with suitable changing accommodation.
With the help of Synergy’s team a successful Condition Improvement Funding (CIF) bid was submitted which allowed the school to make these urgent improvements.
The works involved completely gutting the changing room area and reconfiguring the space to also provide a better layout for the school. The new facilities included toilets, changing rooms, showers, office space and a brand new reception area.
The school were extremely pleased with the final outcome which deliver superb new facilities for the school.
