Our Projects: Walthamstow Hall School, New Sixth Form Centre and Science Extension
Construction of a £5.5 million four storey 6th Form Centre and Science Extension.
The building’s creative design made optimum use of a narrow sloping strip of land between the existing science centre and school sports pitches, to create a lower ground floor and linking the three floors above to the adjacent existing science centre building.
The works provide a much needed enlarged replacement sixth form centre close to the heart of the school with flexible teaching / study areas and a social hub at lower ground floor level. In addition, the building provides additional science laboratories, food technology and prep room facilities linked to the existing science centre.
The result is a stunning addition to the school’s teaching facilities which was completed within the original target budget.
