Stephen joined Sawyer & Fisher in 1985 who then united with Synergy in April 2022.

Stephen has a BSc in surveying, and elected FRICS in 1992. Between 1993-2002 he was a member of the SPAB Committee and was a SPAB Guardian between 2005-15. He is also an accredited member of RICS Conservation Group.

Stephen has gained extensive experience in all aspects of quantity surveying work, from new build through to complex historic buildings, comprising working on Scheduled Ancient Monuments, listed buildings and structures, including various high-profile projects at Westminster Abbey.

He also has considerable experience on National Trust projects and numerous projects where English Heritage has provided funding - either indirectly through client bodies such as PCC’s, private clients or directly by way of grants.
